Versions
MacSpice is a 'release fast, release often' project. Each release (e.g. 2.9.33) is identified by a version number (2.9) and a 'patchlevel' (33). Version numbers increment infrequently when major changes are made or milestones are reached. Patchlevel and build numbers increase relatively frequently but may reflect very minor changes, such a fix to a single bug that has only affected one person.
New features may occasionally cause bugs that aren't detected by the pre-release regression tests so a previous well-worn version is also available below for emergency use in such circumstances.

Current Version - 2.10.13, 12 Aug 2008
If you are updating to this version from v2.9.33 or earlier, rename the '~:Library:MacSpice:' folder first. This will ensure that the new documentation is installed when it is first run.

MacSpice 2.10 requires OS X 10.3.9 or later. People who need to use OS X 10.1 - 10.2.8 may try this obsolete version:

Carbon Version - 2.8.19, 06 Dec 2005
MacSpice 2.8 which will run on MacOS 8.6 with CarbonLib 1.6 (available from www.apple.com and later systems. This obsolete version is provided for people who need to run on OS 8.6 - OS 9.2.2:

Classic Version - DR5, 18 Nov 2003
MacSpice DR5 runs only as a Classic application and superseded by the Carbon Version MacSpice 2.8 This obsolete version is provided for people who are using OS 8.5 and earlier systems:
